Computes the intersection of a this’s area and region, returning the intersection.

Note:

Use get_allocation and intersect_rectangle to get the same behavior.

The result may be empty, use is_empty to check.

this	a Widget
region	a Region, in the same coordinate system as this- >allocation. That is, relative to this->window for widgets which return false from get_has_window; relative to the parent window of this->window otherwise.

A newly allocated region holding the intersection of this and region.
