Description:

public uint16 get_text_length ()

Retrieves the current length of the text in this.

This is equivalent to getting this's `GtkEntryBuffer` and calling [method@Gtk.EntryBuffer.get_length] on it.

Parameters:

this

a `GtkEntry`

Returns:

the current number of characters in `GtkEntry`, or 0 if there are none.
